Which types of PAL signal will a waveform monitor or vectorscope lock to?

In general, a waveform monitor will work with virtually any PAL signal. Vectorscopes however have much tighter requirements of what signals they can lock to. Most Tektronix vectorscopes should be able to lock to PAL types B, D, G, H, and I but not types M or N
