I connect a video monitor to the VGA port but do not get a picture. What can I do?

I connect a video monitor to the VGA port but do not get a picture. What can I do?

Do the following:

1. With the RSA turned off plug the monitor onto the VGA port
2. Turn on the monitor
3. Now turn on the RSA and allow it to boot

You should now have a picture of the RSA screen in the monitor.
