Can the VM6000 software be put on a DPO70000 series oscilloscope? If not compatible+ what is the reason?

No, the software cannot be used on the DPO70000 series. This series of oscilloscopes does not have the video trigger capability, or the ability to change between 50 Ohm input and 1 M Ohm input.  This function is essential to use of the VGA Measurement Interface Unit.
